Another Job Interview.

Went to search for jobs on Monday, because not only i promised myself, but to others too that I'll search for job after I'm back from church camp (will blog bout it later). So i went through many jobs, and applied bout 10 or 11 jobs. Few hours later i got a call. It was from one recruitment companies which i applied job from. They told me, that the job ill be working is at CyberJaya. I didn't accept the job, because I'll have to work on Saturdays or Sundays depending on the shift and schedule.

Then later on, at evening, i got another call from this guy, from Kelly Services. It's an IT company, and the job I'll be working is Telesales. Something which i quite like, but oklah since it's at Taman Tun Doktor Ismail, TTDI, then it's near to my dad's working place, if any problem i can go therecheeky. But then, ill have to go for interview at Menara MCB, which is at near KL Tower. The last time i went to KL Tower, was when i was Standard 4 or Standard 5.

So today, with heavy heart i set myself to KL, not knowing where to park my car, how much would taxi fees be, would i get the job or not, so many things were in my mind. While i was driving at KESAS Highway, i got an sms from JobStreet. It says i got an email from one of the companies i applied. So i raced to the nearest cybercafe, which is at Asiacafe, and paid RM2, for 4 minute session. I went through, and then called up the person in charge, and ask them if they could held the interview today, since I'm all dresses up (and shaved my goatee). She agreed. So at once, i drove straight back to KESAS, and to USJ, and to the highway, straight to CyberJaya.

I don't know what made me so happy to get this job. I reached CyberJaya early, but actually i lost my way earlier, shame on me. Then ajaked Teoh for lunch, since he's the only one family member (i put family, to make it more emotional), that i have in CyberJaya. Panjang and his sister is at Johor. After lunch, i went to this Plaza, which is quite near to Teoh's place (good thing, so if got any problem, i can go to Teohcheeky), went it and signed my name there, and walked to this alley. Seriously, it looks like a hotel, man. I also terperanjat. So i went in, and saw many doors on my left and right, like hotel rooms, but some with invisible door, but most with company names on it. So i went and saw one room, it says Media Monitors. I knocked the door and waited. Then this guy came, so i told him, that i came for interview. He asked me to come in. I came in and waited, he told me to wait in this conference room. Then this lady came and give me some assessment papers.

She told me to finish them up by 1 hour time. So i did. I was quite shocked, when i saw the papers. The questions there are so easy, that i can do it blindfolded, cause it's all related with computers and Internet. It's what i do always. There are basically 4 papers. One is your personal information paper, second one is spelling paper - the question there for example is below:-

A. Google
B. Goggle
C. Gogle
D. Googlee

So it's kinda easy, since i use Google every single day. Then there is the matching test. For example it says there:-

Blacksheep |_| <-- box

then beside there will be the definitions, so you will have to match the word with it's definition, by writing the letter of the definition at the box. Lastly there was the hearing test. While i was doing some of the question, this guy came in. He came for the interview too. Being an anti-social, i didn't mind him much, i don't really busybody or look at him. So while i was doing my question, he asked me answer for one of the question. I told him the answer, correctly. Then i was doing again, he asked me again. I answer him again. When I'm done, he asked me again, so when i was about to explain to him, then the lady came, and told him to finish up the assessment papers later, she wants us both to sit for the hearing test. We were brought to one of the working tables there. The tables there have 4 corners, so one person sits at one corner. In front there is barrier, so the other person wont and cant see what the other person is doing.

So i put on the earphone, and listen. There was advertisements being played there. We have to write down what products were the advertisement trying to promote. The advertisement tracks is played 2 times. So while i was minding my own business and trying to concentrate my ear and my mind to those tracks, my eyes caught something. The same dude's hands. He was calling me. I pretended i didn't see. Later he popped out his head side of the barrier, and waving his hands, i didn't bother. He kept on doing that, wanting to know something, answers perhaps? Being a Christian, i know what i did just now was wrong, and I'm not going to do that again. So i just pretend i didn't see him many times. Then i done stating down 18/20 products from the advertisement tracks. He came over to my place with the computer chair with wheels, and asked me "how was it?". I just nod my head. He came near to my table again. So i decided to be sarcastic to him, i PURPOSELY took my paper and hid it with my file. You guys should have seen his face, i tell you. It was hilarious. After i done that, he just smiled and went back to his table.

After that the same lady came and called my name, i followed her and came to this room with another lady. Supposedly the another lady should be the "small" boss. She talked with this funny accent. She even asked me "what is this P. . . PM. . . PMR..?". The other lady helped me out by explaining the boss lady, of my situation, cause i think she don't really understand me. So all kinda questions were asked, to cut the story short, I'm ACCEPTED!

BUT . . .

Not fully accepted, I'll had to undergo training first. If i do well in training, then i can really work there. So it did really give me some hope to work. So i went back happily. Well, i did manage to go back because of Teoh's drawing of the map, which i still kept it in my car. If i thrown it out, i don't know what would have happened to melah.

So they will get back to me in 2 weeks time, then ill have to undergo training for 2 to 3 weeks. My job would be this :-

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor advertisement on media in the US, primarily radio advertisement.
  • Discover, title and verify commercials that are broadcasted for the first times to be then processed for online reporting.

Requirements:

  • Good English listening skill
  • Good command of English, especially written
  • Able to focus and work with high concentration
  • PC literate is essential i.e. Internet surfing
  • Good general knowledge of the United States will be an advantage
  • Willing to work in shifts
  • Willing to work in Cyberjaya
Yea, I'm kinda scared with the "Willing to work in shifts" thing. Oh! my job name is Discovery Agent. Kinda cool, huh? It sounds so National Geography-ish, something Sherlock Holmes- ish. Wait! Then again, why do i always get funny weird job titles one?

Another Interview

Supposing yesterday (Tuesday, 3th of June) i was suppose to go for job interview. It happened so fast, here's the story.

This guy called from Hyundai, Kah Bintang, for my job application, which he himself said "which you applied one (1) month ago". Funny thing is, he called me after one month!, and at 7:30pm. So i had no time to say anything, i just simply agree. Then when my dad came back, i told him everything. He told me to go and tell the guy to postpone the interview to next week, Monday. Because I'll be going to Port Dickson on Friday, and if i got the job, then it will be hard for me to work, or go to P.D. It was 8pm over, and i don't think I'm able to call him, PLUS the interview is at 9 am the next day, so what time i suppose to call him up?

Anyway, my dad complained a lot, asked me to find another "easier" job. One thing i don't like about the Kah Bintang place, is terrible jam. Just before/after KL, so it's one problem for me to drive there. Don't ever think of taking bus. Anyway, still do keep me in prayers, so that I'll get a job which suits me (after i come back from P.D., that is).

Feeling Pain

I've been reading lots of blogs, and the news about the tragic disaster happened in China and Myanmar, too. I see lots of people sympathised about the people, and their condition. They donate money, either through SMS or by Cash. Sometimes there's thing goes through my mind, about their sympathy. Are they really sympathy about the condition of the people there, because of what happened, or are they sympathizing because they are scared, that it might happen to them later.

Let me give an example, when you're small time, you ride your bike with your friends, and when one of your friend fall off and hurt him/herself, and you laughed at him/her. You go back and tell the story to your parents, they told you not to laugh at him, because someday you might fall too. What they might have not teach you is that, to feel his/her pain. Back to the disaster thing, i guess sometimes we (even could be myself), sympathize just so it wont happen to me. I feel that, if i sympathize for them, i (or my country), will not be faced with problems with this. 9/11 incident, happened, i was so focused on the airplane crashing the building, but i dint feel the pain, of the victims who went through the terror ride, realised that their plane had been hijacked by terrorist, and it's going to crash through buildings.

When my housed shake few days ago, when an earthquake occurred at Nias, Indonesia, i really could felt what the victims of earthquake went to. Even it wasn't strong, and it didn't last long, i still was scared, all kind of thing run through my mind, "what if the whole building collapsed?". Even after it stopped, i did scared for a while. Whatbout them, what would they feel? How would they feel when building collapsed on their soft bodies? How would they feel when their parents, friends, teachers, colleagues, lovers, and other relatives died, and they were the only one left? How would they stand in pain, being crushed by tonnes of building walls and cements for hundreds of hours? For these victims, they not only face physical pain, but emotionally and mentally too. How would they going to live their life after this?

How can you feel their pain? Simple one, but hard. Just think of yourself under the pile of walls, cements, and stones. You are hungry and thirsty. You feel heavy pile on top of you, then you hear a voice, you scream for help, they came and rescue you, 5 hours later. You were brought to hospital, the doctor/police/army person tells you, that your family and friends are dead. You cannot withstand to hear the news, you are so sad, angry, confuse, and shocked. You wish you would just die there, with your family members and friends, because without them, life is not complete. While in hospital, no one came to visit you, or talk to you. After came out of hospital, you go out for the first time, searching for something, something you don't know. You need a place to stay, but where do you begin? You need someone with you, where can you find? You need support, who will give you? Is it end of life?

Sometimes i wish God would create like an USB thing for us, humans. We just connect it to the person in pain and feel their pain, but in the end of the day, it's merely transferring pain, and yes you might feel the pain, but you don't actually "feel" the real pain. God gives us emotion, feeling and love, let us all us it.

R.I.P.

Rest In Peace to Maria Sue Chapman, daughter of Steven Curtis Chapman. . .

MARIA SUE CHAPMAN, DAUGHTER OF STEVEN CURTIS CHAPMAN, DIES IN ACCIDENT AT FAMILY HOME

Maria Sue Chapman, Steven Curtis Chapman's youngest daughter, died Wednesday evening from injuries sustained when a sports utility vehicle hit her in the driveway of the family's home near Franklin, Tennessee. She was 5.

The girl was struck by a Toyota Land Cruiser driven by one of her teenage brothers around 5:30 p.m., authorities said. The teen's identity was not released.

Laura McPherson, a spokesperson for the Tennessee Highway Patrol, told The Tennessean that the girl was airlifted to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville, where she was pronounced dead.

"It appears to be a terrible accident," McPherson said, adding that no charges are expected.

According to the Associated Press, several family members witnessed the accident, but the Tennessean report said only two children saw what happened. McPherson said the entire family was home at the time.

"I'm confident I can speak for everyone in the community to say we will do everything we can to support this family, as we would do at any time, but especially at a time like this," Gospel Music Association President John W. Styll told The Tennessean.

Maria was Steven and wife Mary Beth Chapman's third adopted daughter and sixth child overall, behind siblings Will Franklin, Caleb, Emily, Shaohannah, and Stevey Joy.

Their belief in adoption led the couple to found Shaohannah's Hope in 2000, an organization aimed at helping families facing the financial burden of adopting a child. So far, the charity has assisted thousands of families with grants, according to the nonprofit's Web site.

"My heart is just aching for them," said Velvet Kelm, Chapman's publicist.

"I don't know of anybody who loves his children more than he does and is so committed to the adoption concept, and to lose one, no matter what the circumstances, is heartbreaking beyond all comprehension," Styll said.

In April, Chapman was inducted in the Music City Walk of Fame for more the 20 years in Christian music — a career that has spawned five Grammy awards, 54 Dove awards, 44 No. 1 singles, and more than 10 million albums sold.

"There may or may not be issues ahead for us," Mary Beth Chapman told Today's Christian in 2005 about her and her husband's future as adoptive parents. "But even if Shaoey turns 16 and says, 'I hate you, I'm going back to China,' I know God put Shaoey in our lives; God put Stevey Joy here, and God put Maria here. Whether it's all peaches-and-cream or it's miserable, this is God's work."

Prices

I was chatting with a friend of mine, on how these days car prices are high, that people are finding it diffucult to purchase one. Few days ago, i went to Toyota Malaysia's website. I went and check out the Vios. The price is RM88k. I also checked the Avanza, the price is RM65k. Quite weird, seeing the Vios is more pricey than the Avanza, because the Avanza can fit in more people, and it's bigger. The thing i dont like about Avanza is the 1.3litter CC engine (for the RM65k price). Wherelse the Vios is has 1.5CC powered engine. Another reason why i dont like the Avanza is cause it looks ugly, seriously. But on the other hand, i can bring more people in this car. So it would be good too. Anyway, my point is these days common mistakes car manufacturers doing are making expensive cars, for people to own. I love BMWs so much, but when i look at the most basic. . . ok, let us go to the second hand ones instead, the price is still so high for a normal person to afford.

Im not saying for them to decrease the quality of their cars, but if it's possible, they could make cars which is cheap for the people. I even went to Proton and Perodua's websites. The most cheap car, i can find there is the Saga- BLM (Proton) and Viva (Perodua). If i were to chose either both cars, i would certainly go for the Viva. But the car is so small, that people will make the "how to put an elephant into a refridgerator" on me. So in the end of the day, i still think that car prices these days are expensive, not to mention the price of fuel going to hike up soon, and i feel that car manufacturers could make much more cheaper cars for us, people.

On the other hand . . .

It's been more than 10 days already, and i guess i didn't get the HSBC job. Quite disappointed though, i mean, it would be good working with a GIANT banking company, working at weird hours (4PM - 1AM), travelling to CyberJaya and drive past other GIANT companies in awe( and also being labeled as Executive). Overall i learned a lot during the interview, like how much my friends cared, asking me if i got the job or not, it shows they really care.

So what's my next step now? I don't know, really. I plan to find another job, but after June. Because on June, ill be going to Port Dickson, P.D. and i don't want to get a job at this nearby weeks, and take leave. Please do pray for me, so that i can get a job, which can suit with my lifestyle as in doesn't clash with my usual routine.

Iron Man

I've just watched it, 2 days ago, and here's my review about the movie.

Ok, before i'll start, ill go back to the pass. I used to watch the cartoon version, when i was in Primary School. So what i still remembered about Iron Man, is that he carries his suitcase around with him, ALL THE TIME! And when danger comes, he puts his suitcase down, and press something (i think) and the suit case automatically opens and expands itself into half of Iron Man's armour. As soon as Tony Stark walks into the armour, the armour closes itself fully, and then he becomes Iron Man. I still remember his greatest enemy, was The Mandarin. The Mandarin is a Chinese guy ( or Japanese, or Korean), and he's green. Not lime green, but green like your flem green. He's power comes from rings he use. He has 10 fingers, and all of them has ring in it. So he looks like an indian cheti.

So when i watched this movie, i didnt understand why did Tony Stark has a hole in the center of the body. And as far as i remember, he wasnt a playboy. Maybe the 21-Century has put some pressure on him. The thing i dont like this movie is, there's too much talking in it. People like me, or even fans/moviegoers/kids, wants to see Iron Man, not all the talking parts. And there were words or scenes not supposed to be used or shown, since Iron Man is cartoon (last time), and it might not suitable for children.

The effects used in the movie are awesome, the soundtracks are pretty cool too. Sadly, not much of Iron Man "moments", so it makes fans wants to see more of Iron Man. Overall, it's a good movie, for a person like me, who watched it from small, might not get used to the movie, like how he transforms into Iron Man. If there's more Iron Man, and more fights, it would had been so much nicer, less talking would be good too. For a action movie, the comedy part is quite funny acutally.

FREAKY!

WOW! I was watching tv a while ago, when i felt sudden movement. It felt like. . . it felt like, my house is moving. I told to my father that, and of course, he's my father, he didnt respond. Then my brother came out from room, and told me that, he felt too. Even when my house shaked for 5 seconds, i still feel scared and shocked about it, just imagine how would the people in China feel, when the earthquake hit their country. I asked some of the people living nearby, nobody felt it. Maybe because their house is terrace or double storey, and it's not hight like mine. I'm living in at flat house, at 2nd floor.

From Lowyat.Net Forum

Please do pray, so that nothing bad happens.

Some sites said it's 6.2 magnitude, 4.8 magnitude, and 5.8 magnitude. . .

Babe

I just saw a movie, Babe and i think it's one good movie to watch. The story is about a small piglet, who is taken by a farmer, Farmer Hoggett, from a carnival, to his farm and at there the piglets mixes with other animals. Even though, the movie is maybe mainly for small childrens, but i think it's suitable for adults too, it teaches us how to mix with people from other race, religion, culture and how they looked like. Most the time, the piglet mixes with a sheep dog (Fly)' s pups. There's some comedy in the movie, and also sad scene. There's one of the scene, where Fly's pups were sold to some couple of human beings, and Fly became really sad about it. It didnt say (YES the animals in this movie talk with one another among the animals), or bark. It became depress. And the piglet, walk over to Fly, and said "Can i call you mom?". Instantly the dog went and licked the piglet on, it's face.

It's quite funny, at times when the animals talk to one another ( in human language of course). Like when Rex (Fly's husband/boyfriend) counsels Babe (the piglet), for he and a duck (Ferdinand) for doing something wrong, and this horse begins his advice with "Young man. . .".
There's also quite emotional, and sweet part in the movie, when Babe addresses Fly, "mom".
I guess this is one sweet movie, everyone should watch.

Sadly, i went to wikipedia to see info about the movie, and i saw this. . .

Due to its title and its subject matter not being "halal", the film was initially banned in Malaysia although it was later released on VHS and VCD.

My Interview

Hi, this is my post for the interview i went for yesterday.

(LONG POST!!! BEWARE!!!(but please, readlah :P) )

My journey begins from Putra Heights, i tail-gated Teoh till CyberJaya, and reached there at 10:25am. My interview starts at 1pm. I called up Panjang, but he wasn't at CyberJaya, he's at his friend's house. So i decided to go around CyberJaya, but my petrol amount is not enough, im afraid if i dont make it back home. While waiting for the time to reach 1pm, i just read KOSMO paper. I kept reading it twice, till the time is 12:30. So i went in to HSBC. It was a HUGE building, very nice indeed. So i went to the reception table, and told the guard i came for interview. He told me to fill in some forms. So i did, as i filing it up, more and more people turned up.

It was 1pm, but still no one turned up. The HR person, Mr. Edwin Martin still haven't turned up yet. So much for "(Please ensure that you are here before 1.00 p.m. as our assessment/interviews sessions start sharp at 1.00 p.m.) ". Then this guy indian guy came. BIG, fierce looking guy. Want to know how he looked like?

Yes he looked like that, NO! He dont look like that, he's is THAT!!!

He was quite strick, as he told us to fill in the form COMPLETE, or else your application will be canceled. There were 18 of us there, he brief about the form we filled in just now, and then he devided us into groups. 1 group 2 people. So he called out names, and ask us to put our hands on air. I was in Group 2, with this chinese girl, name Evon. She's a sweet person, polite, even before we were put together, when i was filling form, she asked me politely, she was looking for Mr. Edwin. So we talked, while waiting for the task. She's from Ipoh, and she studied in KTAR, Setapak, and UTAR, Sungai Long. She's a Degree holder. She asked me, if i was a Fresh Graduate, i told her not, since im not a so Fresh Graduate. Mr. Edwin call out Group 1, but one of the member was Away, so my group had to go in. So Evon and i was first to go in this small room, with another to people in there. 1 was a Malay Lady, and another is a Chinese guy.

The guy was the person who asks questions, and the lady writes something behind the untransparent thing she's holding. The guy talked like a robot. I mean, he smiles everytime, and he talks things so fast, and looked like it's been progammed in him. So he begin with him, asking me simple questions, here's what i remember off.

Interviewer: Mr. Melvin, can you please tell me of a colour you like (*smiles*)
Me: Black
Interviewer: What does it reminds you off (*smiles*)
Me: Mercedes Benz
Interviewer: Why black? (*smiles*)
Me: Because it looks Elegant

Then he asked the girl some other question, while i shutdown my brain. After that, he gave me a card, and in the card written something. He told me, in one minute time, please talk about the topic in that card. This is what written in the card. . .

Tell one of the best advertisement you saw
1.) What is it about?
2.) When and Where did you see it?
3.) Who was in the advertisement?

So with the 5 seconds given time, i think and think, and told the advertisement that i like was the Petronas advertisement. I talked about it, and one point i said something silly. I told i like the advertisement, because it breaks racially barrier. I cant believe i said that ,with 3 races in one room. But i forgotten the boy's name (Tan Hong Ming). Then in 1 minute time, i was stopped. Then it was Evon's turn. Her topic was about Favourite song. So she mention her favourite song was something-dont-know-because-dont-understand-chinese, sung by Jay Chou. Then she talked about Jay Chou. While she was talking there, something caught my attention. The interviewer's hands were shaking. Seriously, my hands were not shaking, same as Evon's but, why is this guy's hand shaking. I got confuse thinking bout it. After we're done, we were told to wait outside. So other groups went it.

As other groups finish, it was one on one, with Mr. Edwin. First was Evon's turn. She went it, and in 5 minutes she came out. She said she's going back, i didnt managed to ask if she got the job or not. Poor her, i hope she manage to find job soon. Then it was my turn. I went it. Then Mr. Edwin asked about myself. He asked questions which is difficult to answer. Like, "What if someone hires you much more, than what you earning now?" I seriously dont know how to answer this question. Then he asked, "What assurance you can give me, that you will stay here for 2 years?". As a Christian i decided to be honest, i told him, i wont promise, because if anything happens, then i wont be trusted anymore, and i'll be call liar. He asked, if i know how to use computer? I told him, i do. He ask how was my computer skills, i told, i can repair my own computer. He asked me to wait outside.

While i was waiting outside, there's this another chinese girl approached me. Her name was Leena. She came to take her offer letter, since she got the job. She went for interview last week. She's also from Perak, but Teluk Intan. She studied in UKM, Bangi. She talks quite slow, slow means slow, not the volume is low. While waiting, i chat with her. When i see both her and Evon's condition, i feel thankful to God for placing me here in Shah Alam, despite it's not near to CyberJaya, but at least my home is nearby. These people came all the way just to make living here. After 30 minutes (or more), a guy came, and called out my name. 4 of us, were to go up, first floor. As we walked to walkway, which resembles pentagon (the shape), we came to this big room. With computers in every row. We went to the end of the room, to this table, a high class malay lady there. She was friendly, introed her-self, and asked us our names. Then, she explain that now we're doing a typing test. We have to write 18 letters in 1 minute without any error, if 1 or 2, she will consider. You click the Start Clock button, type and when you're done, press Stop Clock.Sounds easy?

As she was explaining to us, she looked at this chinese guy. He was at one of his colleagues' table. She asked him what he was doing there? He explain something which i dont understand. Suddenly the woman raised her voice to the guy. Eventually he got scold! for not bringing his swap card. Serious, all of were looking at one another, and got scared. 1 minutes she was all nice and friendly, another minute, she was so scary. Then later, one of us (2 guys, 2 girls), girl was first to begin the test. She typed everything, and then she went searching for her typing if it has any errors, the lady saw it, and immediately got scolding for doing so. She then looked at us, and asked "is anyone of you dont understand what i just said?", all didnt answer. The second girl did, then it was another guy, apperantely he came for the interview before, and he failed at the lady, this is his second time. His errors were bout 6 or 7. Next was my turn. After seeing the lady, i decided to simply type, and get lots of errors. I type and type, but something hindering me from doing so. The thing i need to type is, something like below.

PAPUA NEW GUINEA Population ($bn) 45, 678 km ($PPP) (m) SINGAPORE Population ($bn) 12, 345 km (SPPP)

Something like that, you must make sure its the same, as in capital letters, brackets, number (which most of them failed), and the signs. So i press Stop Clock, and it says "You cannot stop the clock, unless you Start it first". I got scared, i didnt know what to do. In order to avoid the lady from scolding, i quickly, press OK, another new page appear, and i quickly type the same thing mentioned above. I was at the first paragraph, suddenly the woman came, she looked and asked me "Did you do a new one, again?" in quite loud tone. I replied "No, i press stop the clock, but it say , that's it." Then she do back, and told me to re-do it. I wanted to purposely get lots of error again, but it hindered me again. So after i done, i press Stop the clock, button, and i got only one error, the word AREA. It's either i mispelled it or whatlah. Then later she asked us to follow her. We followed her back to ground floor.

Once there ,she asked me to wait for outside. She went in with the guy, and talked to him. After 40 minutes or more, he came out, and went back. I went it. She asked me questions nicely, and after it went harder and harder. This time, i pur
posely wanted to flunk myself. So i purposely hinted her, that i dont want to work with her. She asked, "What do you think of me" (Refering about the time she scolded the guy), I purposely said Scary! ( Well in one way it's kinda true). Then she asked me about working in pressure, i told her "mild mild pressure i can, high ones i cannot". My interview with her is about 15 to 20 minutes. After done, im able to go back home (FINALLY!!!). Then i called Teoh up, and told him i want to go home. So i went to his office to take something, but i decided to wait for him, then i follow him back home. So i went to nearby shop, and ate Nasi Goreng, and Ais Kosong. While waiting for Teoh, Panjang came to teman me for a while. So we talked about the interview, but he need to go Serdang to pick up his sister Joelyn from Bus Station. So i let him go, with a heavy heart.

Picture taken after interview. That's why face so oily and sour looking. Normally i not like this one.

Teoh came early, and both of us had nice chat together. I learned many things from him, such as how to handle work, how to manage with your salary, about some people, music ministry, about myself, about marriage, and so onlah. It was good! I learned a lot! Then later about 7:30pm, we went back home.

I want to Thank God for giving me and Teoh safe journey, for protecting me from any danger, helping me get good results in the typing test, helping me out financially, petrolly, tolly, and giving me good friends. Thank to Teoh too, for willing to lead me to CyberJaya safely, going time and coming back time, for drawing me map how to go back Shah Alam, from CyberJaya, for paying my food, for using the cash lane with me, despite he has Touch N' Go card, because he waited for me and sharing his experience. Thank Panjang also, for calling me and giving me direction to Street Mall, and accompanying me even for a while, to make sure im not lonely and safe. Thank to Fitri/Elena/Mei Yoon (according to who's first) for sending me message, asking me how did my interview go.

Malaysian Cars- Part 2: Perodua

This is the second and final part of the series (saga :P). Just a short briefing about Perodua. Perodua stands for Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Berhad, and launched in 1993. They normally produce small-sized cars, instead of Sedan, but they did produce 4-wheel drive, the Perodua Kembara, and the latest Perodua Nautika.

We begin with the Perodua Kancil.

Facelifted Model (with new headlamp, tail lamp, front grille, fender designs)

The design of this car is taken from the Daihatsu Mira. Sometimes, you can see people in the streets driving Kancil, but with funny weird tail lamps, and sometimes sunroof. It could either be a real Daihatsu Mira, or a Kancil, with Mira parts. I cant find any Mira pictures in the internet.

Perodua Rusa

The Daihatsu Zebra

Perodua Kembara

This is not the Perodua Kembara, but the Daihatsu Terios. It looks the very same as the Kembara.

This is the Daihatsu Be-go/Toyota Rush. New version of Terios. Perodua might use this design for the Nautika.

Perodua Kenari

Daihatsu Move

Sometimes you will be able to see some Kenari with long tail lamp, and the word "Move". This is what the word "Move" means.

Perodua Kelisa

Daihatsu Mira (5th Generation)

Perodua Myvi

The Myvi is the best selling car that Perodua produce. It came from designs of the Daihatsu Sirion/Boon and the Toyota Passo.

Daihatsu Sirion

Daihatsu Boon X4

Perodua Viva

Daihatsu Mira (6th Generation)

So again, as you can see the similarities between Perodua and Daihatsu design.

In a way, its good that both Proton and Perodua uses designs from foreign car makers, as we can buy the cars cheaper, and the spare parts and accessories easily available.

Malaysian Cars - Part 1: Proton

If you have been living here at Malaysia, you would know that Proton and Perodua is our own local car production brand. They had been here for more than years, and both companies been producing cars, for Malaysians, for cheaper price range. But what you might not know is, that most of their designs of their car, is from another brand. Read on.

We'll start with Proton. Proton begin their journey with the Proton Saga, in 1985, all the way to Proton Persona in 2007. From the begining, from the Proton Saga model till the Proton Waja model, mostly the designs are from their partnership with Mitsubishi. The designs and the engine model were from Mitsubishi's designs. So dont be suprise to see some "protons" at Japan.

The Proton Saga
Comes from the Mitsubishi Lancer Fiore

The Proton Saga/Iswara (Facelifted from the Saga)

Proton Wira

Taken from the Mitsubishi Lancer

Notice it? It looks almost the same. But the Wira above is Aeroback, so the picture doesnt show the similarity with this Lancer.

Another picture of the Lancer. If you live in Malaysia, you will see many of this imatation ones.

Proton Satria

Mitsubishi Mirage/ Mitsubishi Colt

As you can see, again it looks almost the same.

Proton Perdana
Mitsubishi Eterna

Proton Tiara

Citroen AX

Proton Juara

Mitsubishi Town Box

Proton Waja

Mitsubishi Evolution (6th or 7th Generation)

Coming Soon: Part 2: Perodua

He warned us!

"Then, if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Messiah!' or, 'Look, there he is!'- do not believe it. For false Messiahs, and false prophets will appear. They will perform miracles and wonders in order to deceive even God's chosen people, if possible. Be on your guard! I have told you everything ahead of time.

GigiBiru

To those who were at Mayuri Restaurant, after Combine CG Meeting, knows that, it was like a "Bluetooth Party (taken from the phrase Lan Party), since everybody turned on their bluetooth. Ever wondered why it's called Bluetooth, and how it came from? Read on!

Bluetooth was named after a late tenth century king, Harald Bluetooth, King of Denmark and Norway. He is known for his unification of previously warring tribes from Denmark (including now Swedish Scania, where the Bluetooth technology was invented), and Norway. Bluetooth likewise was intended to unify different technologies, such as personal computers and mobile phones.

The name may have been inspired less by the historical Harald than the loose interpretation of him in The Long Ships by Frans Gunnar Bengtsson, a Swedish Viking-inspired novel.

The Bluetooth logo merges the Germanic runes analogous to the modern Latin letter H and B: (for Harald Bluetooth) (Hagall) and (Berkanan) merged together, forming a bind rune.

For more info on Bluetooth Technology, you can read it up here!.
