We Sellfish

You know how the Bible often tells us about loving your enemy? Sometime we go and tell people about that, we think we are so far supirior than others. Ever did we see how our selfishness act when we hang out with those we dont like?

1.) We always hang out with the same people. When other people tends to join us in our group, we dont like it. We say things like "you dont fit in", "you dont belong here", " its normal for us to hang out with one another, others normally dont join in".

2.) We are ok with the people talking with us which means in good terms with us, but when the people we hates the most comes in, in our mind, we say "dont he/she has better things to do", "busybodylah this fella", and so on.

3.) We prefer hang out with the cool people. Who wants to hang out with the nerdy, unpopular, bad looking person. It drops down our image.

4.) We talk different language, just so the other person wont know what we are saying to another friend. This happens to me a lot, sometimes in car.

Who are we to prevent others from joining us and our friends as well. Im not pin pointing anyone, seriously. If i were to pin point, i can jot down names here. This is something which i need to learn, i always have hard time joining with people i dont like to be with. In this year 2008, i hope i can learn to be a better person accepting people.
