Splinter

I don't know if i should put this as "Fail" or not, but this is just weird.

What i'm talking about? I'm talking about Splinter, the World's First . . .(get this) Wooden Supercar! In a simple term, it means, this car is equivalent to a Porche, Lamborghini and Ferrari, but it's made out of wood. Hahahahah!

Picture Sauce.

Apperantetly, this car has the capability of going 240mph (386kmh), with it's mid mounted 4.6l supercharged V8 within its composite timber body. It can pump out 700bhp!!! This is what the designer, Joe Harmon, has to say about the "Wood is a truly amazing material to work with.

"It has a higher strength-to-weight ratio than aluminium or steel, and it possesses a versatility that makes many different types of construction techniques possible.

"The look, feel, and smell of a natural material like wood is not seen elsewhere and cannot be faked, and the satisfaction involved in making something from a piece of wood is awesome.

"This is a supercar designed to push boundaries and prove the potential of wood as a material."

For more info about the car, you can visit the designer's website.

I don't know what to say about this car, but certainly it's different from different. Wonder if anyone in Malaysia is going to buy it?

Me-lvin

P.S. Later if accident, kasi ketuk balik with another piece of kayu.
