Old Town Kopitiam

Yesterday after Cap'n Ball, i went out hang out with Darren, Andrew and who's the one more fella,ah??? Yah Beans... hehehe

Anyway, the place is in Taipain, USJ... Its a very big place actually, not that very biglah, but biglah... When i entered into the shop/restaurant/cafe/coffee shop, i can sense the atmosphere in there, its kinda calming actually, very relaxing, soothing, the lights are just nice, the tables and the chairs...

If u were to make an order, you will have to write or mark in the forms which had been prepared, something unusual, and then call up the person and they will comelah... surprisingly its quite fast they deliver...

I ordered the Curry Mee, but i forget to tell i actually wanted Curry Mee "hoon", so there for i have to eat up those thick noodles... I wanted to order the some chocolate drink, but Darren ordered it 1st, so therefore i order diiferent wanlah, i ordered Ice Mocha... The Curry Mee, has no fishball nor porkball at all, no kerang, but the curry was nice... As for the drink, it was ok ,not too bad...

The we had the ultimate boy's talklah, except no pillow, all the way from tasting each other foods till cutting our " saluran pundi kencing " i dont know what they call it in englishlah, ask Darrenlah... So that our girlfriends wont get pregnant... This fellas are being a bad influence to melah... hahaha just joking nia... It was fun haging out with these dudes, as they were very hype, chic and trendy ( yah i copied that somewhere)...

Anyway, what i didnt like that day was, i was having this terrible stomach achelah, i dont know what happen, but it was killing me from the inside...

But still these fellas were there to make my time enjoyable... :D

Soon later it was time to go back home, cause next day which is on today got BOB, mah... Need to prepare ourselfs, right...

Here are some pictures of the Old Klang Kopitiam taken ( yah i copied that from somewhere too)

Ice Lemon Tea, Andrew ordered this... But that's not Andrew's hands... hahaha :P

Old Town White Coffee, their trademark drinklah... But why not white colour???

The Menu

Something which you can enjoy on the evening...

ERIC KIRTON

1932 – 2007

Eric was born in Clydebank, Scotland in 1932, the youngest son and second-youngest child in a family of 5 boys and 2 girls. When Clydebank was a key target for German bombers during World War II due to its being the major shipbuilding centre in the United Kingdom at the time, the Kirton home was destroyed during a spate of bombings, forcing Eric’s parents to send the children to be cared for in the countryside. Eric spent the war years growing up on a farm in Luss Village, on the banks of Loch Lomond.

At the age of 14, at a youth camp, Eric committed his life to Jesus Christ, and very soon thereafter began to sense a calling into missions work.

After his school years, Eric trained as a woodworker and worked with a well-known furniture supplier in Glasgow. He also enlisted in the armed forces. In 1953 he was called for duty with the British Royal Air Force and stationed in Singapore and Malaya during the Emergency for 2 years. Feeling the Lord’s call to missionary service in Malaya, he returned two and a half years later in February 1958, commended by his home church in Glasgow.

After intensive language studies in Kuala Lumpur, he moved to Kuantan where from the old wooden house he had rented, he established the first Brethren assembly on the east coast.

In 1959, he married Tan Cheng Kim, a teacher from Kuala Lumpur, who moved to Kuantan and continued to use her teaching career as an outreach opportunity among children and teens.

After 2 years of planting the seeds of the gospel, the first new believers were harvested for God’s kingdom, and in 1964, Kuantan Chapel was built. Many church leaders across the country today – and indeed over the world – as well as many missionaries from Malaysia were the product of the ministry of the Kirtons in Kuantan.

The Kirtons’ ministry expanded over the years to include helping to establish the work in Temerloh, and to regularly help minister in the assemblies in Bentong, Raub and Kota Bharu, as well as the Presbyterian church in Kuala Trengganu.

In 1984, with the church work in Kuantan well-established, the Kirtons contemplated new ministry elsewhere, but sudden debilitating illness left Cheng Kim bedridden and in need of constant medical attention, forcing the Kirtons to move to Kuala Lumpur. Cheng Kim went to be with the Lord in 1989.

After moving to Kuala Lumpur in 1985, Eric became a regular itinerant Bible teacher and preacher in churches in the Klang Valley and across the country. He also served on the management board of Evangel Book Centre and as chairman of the annual Klang Valley Bible Conference.

In July 2006, he was diagnosed with malignant melanoma (an aggressive form of skin cancer) and underwent surgery to remove a tumour above his left shoulder-blade. In December 2006, surgery was required for a second tumour in the same region, but unfortunately this time the pathology report indicated that the cancer had not been contained. Intensive radiotherapy ensued until it became clear some weeks later that the cancer had already spread into the lungs and was no longer treatable. Within a month, his left lung was a solid mass of tumour and no longer functioning, and within a further 2 months, his remaining lung had also succumbed to the cancer and the Lord ushered him into his eternal presence early in the morning of Saturday 24 March 2007.

Eric leaves behind 3 children and 2 grandchildren: Colin; Laurence and his wife Yoke Lin; and Carol and her husband Barry Sherbeck and their 2 daughters Laura Kim and Dana Joy.

In their lives, and in the lives of a myriad other spiritual “sons and daughters," Eric Kirton has left a lasting legacy.

“Well done, good and faithful servant! … Come and share your Master’s happiness!” (Matthew 25:21)

May he rest in peace

Spiderman 1 - Punjabi Version

Here's something CUTE for you guys to enjoy... :)

Me-lvin^_~

Hmm... i just signed in into my blog and wanted to post something, but i JUST dont know what should i post...

Ok, i just though of 1 matter which disturbs me a lot recently...

1 of my friend got an offer to this college, not a famous 1 though, because in this college accepts mainly those school - dropouts...

My friend is same age as me and didnt completed his SPM, due to some personal problems, and directly after stopping school, he worked at Petronas, as a cashier who later was promoted to supervisor of the station, but soon he thinks he wants to go extra mile, by going to college...

I've given him some tips and infos about how college works, because i myself had asked people on colleges and how its like living in that big building, i told him that its not goona be so easy like in school, but its gonna be super hard, because of the assignments and projects, not to forget the fees and other matters which money comes in place, like hostel, food and so much more...

If he were to go there, then i will lose 1 more friend, just i lose others who went to colleges or universities... I know how hard it is, if he goes there, then i wont be going to Cyber-Cafes more frequent, same goes to basketball games...

But then, looking into other people's needs is more important, and im happy that he choose to continue back his studies.. BUT there's something which im quite worried about, he has a girlfriend... NOW having a girlfriend part is NOT that i concern of, but the thing which worries me is that, his girlfriend will be in the same college as him, and get this in the same class...

Ah... habislah you, the temptations and the distractions will take place... But he said he wont be affected, well i hope so..

Anyway, ill continue to pray for him so that he will always do his best in his studies...

Fine mess, says tailor in MPK incident

KLANG: Humiliated and enraged, that’s how Pua Chia Teng feels after several Klang Municipal Council (MPK) enforcement officers dragged him from his shop and bundled him into a car before taking him to the police headquarters here, all over a parking fine.

Pua, 35, a tailor at Jalan Raja Hassan said it started over a parking fine issued at 2pm on Wednesday.

“It all began with my elder brother Khiau Seong. He had parked his Mercedes Benz along Jalan Raja Hassan without a parking coupon. As an MPK parking attendant walked towards the car, Khiau Seong shouted out at him not to issue a compound as he was on his way out,” he said.

He said the attendant ignored his brother's plea.

“Khiau Seong rushed out and within minutes a scuffle had broken out. I ran out and separated them while two other attendants watched. The three MPK attendants then walked away and Khiau Seong drove off,” he said.

Pua added that 10 minutes later, a group of MPK enforcement officers barged into his shop demanding he follow them to the Klang police headquarters to give a statement regarding the scuffle. He refused.

Pua said the officers then dragged him from his shop and forced him into their car. They then drove to the police headquarters.

“I was dragged out in full view of passers-by and other shop owners. It was humiliating,” Pua said.

“At the police headquarters, I had to pay RM1,000 bail to be released,” he said.

Selangor DAP deputy chairman Peter Tan said he plans legal action over the matter.

“It is unbecoming of the staff to act in such a manner,” he said.

Council president Abdul Bakir Zin declined to comment on the way his men had taken Pua to the police headquarters.

Asked about a video of the incident posted on the Internet, Bakir said, “Let the police investigate as a report has been lodged.”

Personally if you were to ask me, i think this is a bit harsh thing to do, just because someone "SHOUTED" at you, while you're doing the job...

Oh, and there's a video in the link too, do watch it...

You can hardly

wait to tell all your friends

How his kisses taste sweet like wine

And how he always

makes your heart skip a beat

Every time he walks by

And if you're feeling down

He'll pick you up

He'll hold you close when

you're makin' love

He's everything

you've been dreaming of

Oh baby

I wish you'd look at me that way

Your beautiful eyes

lookin' deep into mine

Telling me more than

any words could say

But you don't even know I'm alive

Baby to you all I am

Is the invisible man

You probably spend

hours on the phone

Talkin' 'bout nothing at all

It doesn't matter

what the conversation

Just as long as he called

Lost in a love so real

And so sincere

You wipe away each other's tears

Your face lights up

whenever he appears

I see you all the time baby

The way you look at him

I wish it was me sweetheart

Boy I wish it was me

But I guess I'll never be...

[Chorus]
